Kneehill County is seeking an energetic professional to be a part of our Corporate Services team. As the Municipal Accountant, you will be responsible for the accounting and maintaining controls of our tangible capital assets, project costing, inventory and gravel records, insurance and risk management.
In order to provide this expertise, you will bring with you a Bachelor of Commerce Degree or comparable Degree and be working towards an accounting designation. Municipal experience and understanding of municipal accounting practices and processes along with experience in cost and project accounting would be a strong asset.
