Job Description : 

The Town of High River is seeking a Engineering Coordinator to provide support to the Manager of Engineering Services as part of a team that provides engineering services for the Town. This position requires a knowledge and understanding of technical work related to overall engineering typically required by a growing municipality.

This technical position will encompass a broad range of activities including reviewing of engineering drawings and submissions, overseeing the coordination and implementation of capital works projects, gathering data from the field, researching and investigating engineering issues and assisting with administration of capital and operation budget programs, reports development and construction agreements.

To prepare for this position, you have have a P. Eng  or E.I.T. designation from APEGA and 4 years related experience or have a C.E.T. designation from ASET with 6 years related experience. You will have a good understanding of contract law, project management, and municipal construction. Municipal experience would be considered an asset.
